QACC Africa invites you to the Launch of South Africa Chapter of the Queer & Allied Chamber of Commerce Africa on the 15th of November, 5:00pm - 7:00pm (SAST), in Cape Town. QACC Africa is a proud partner under USAID’s Inclusive Development and Equitable Assistance (IDEA) Leader with Associate Award.
This special event will formally introduce the SA Chapter President, Khangelani Dziba (they/them), provide an update on activities by QACC Africa’s co-founders, and be a fabulous networking opportunity with LGBTQIA+ led and serving non-profit organizations, queer business owners and entrepreneurs, key allied stakeholders from the private sector, as well as attending dignitaries.
The event will include featured addresses from dignitaries, including:
● Dr. Reuben E. Brigety II (he/him), United States Ambassador to the Republic of South Africa
● Jessica Stern (all pronouns), Special Envoy to Advance the Human Rights of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex (LGBTQI+) Persons
● Jay Gilliam (he/him), USAID/Washington Senior LGBTQI+ Coordinator
