An exciting event held in Washington DC, USA, in partnership with ILGA World and featuring USAID, to introduce the Queer & Allied Chamber of Commerce Africa (QACC Africa) and the Pride & Prosperity Fund (PPF)!
The PPF is a queer incubator and investment fund that safely and equitably supports enterprises within the African LGBTQIA+ community, working towards achieving Economic Justice. During this introduction, QACC will share its history, lessons learned, and achievements; facilitate connections among private and public sector individuals; and highlight partnership opportunities with QACC to strengthen queer African trade, advance the pink economy, and expand QACC’s reach across Africa.

Event Aims:
Introduce the Queer & Allied Chamber of Commerce Africa; their lessons learned, achievements to date, and their activities planned for 2024-2025 under USAID’s Inclusive Development and Equitable Assistance (IDEA) Leader with Associate Award.
Facilitate connections among individuals from the public and private sector with an interest in advancing opportunities for queer African business owners.
Introduce the Pride & Prosperity Fund and secure commitments for public and private sector investment for LGBTQIA+ businesses in Africa.
Highlight partnership opportunities with QACC Africa to strengthen queer African trade, advance the pink economy, and expansion of QACC Africa chapters in other African nations.
