The Queer & Allied Chamber of Commerce Africa (QACC Africa) is excited to host our session on Inclusive Governance and Economic Development for African Minority Groups at Spotlight Africa, which is a convening space hosted by Segal Family Foundation for African leaders and philanthropists who work in Africa during the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Session Aims:     

  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) as a means to advancing LGBTQIA+ economic development conversations with African leaders.

  • Advocate for commitment from private sector leaders working throughout Africa to embrace active DEI policies and strategies.

  • Highlight partnership opportunities with QACC Africa to strengthen queer African trade, advance the pink economy, and expansion of QACC Africa chapters in other African nations.
