Privacy Policy

This is a prototype policy that illustrates our privacy-by-design approach. It is not yet legal advice or a binding agreement.

Our privacy principles

Privacy is not a setting you find later — it is the foundation of this platform. Because our members may face real risk, we design every feature to minimise the data we hold and maximise the control you have over it.

  • You decide how visible you are, from fully public to name-withheld.
  • We collect the minimum data needed to run each service.
  • You can export or delete your data at any time from your dashboard.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly — such as your profile, business details, and messages — and limited technical data needed to keep the platform secure. Sensitive fields are optional and clearly marked.

Visibility & consent

Every listing, profile, and post carries a visibility control. Members choose whether their name, business, or location is shown, and can withhold identity while still participating. Consent-based introductions mean your details are only shared when you agree.

How information is shared

We never sell your data. Information is shared only to deliver a service you requested — for example, a warm introduction you approved — or where required by law and safe to do so.

Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and regular reviews. No system is perfectly secure, so we also give you tools to reduce what you reveal in the first place.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your information, and object to certain processing. Contact our team to exercise these rights — we respond promptly and confidentially.
